Hunan Province, referred to as "Xiang" for short, is a provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC), with Changsha as its capital, bordering Jiangxi Province in the east, Chongqing and Guizhou Province in the west, Guangdong Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the south and Hubei Province in the north.
