The business administration major of the School of Economics and Management of Chang 'an University trains senior business administration professionals with knowledge and ability in management, economy, law and enterprise management, who can engage in management, teaching and scientific research in enterprises, institutions and government departments. Students will receive basic training in business management knowledge and ability, systematically master the basic principles of management and economics as well as the basic theories and methods of modern business management, be familiar with the relevant principles, policies and regulations of Chinese business management and the practices and rules of international business management, and have strong language and writing skills, interpersonal skills and basic ability to analyze and solve business management problems. Students are required to read professional English books skillfully and master the basic skills of applying modern information technology in enterprise management. The academic system is four years. The School of Economics and Management of Chang 'an University, the predecessor of the School of Economics and Management of An Highway Jiaotong University, was established on the basis of the merger of the Department of Management Engineering and the Department of Economics of Xi Highway Jiaotong University in July 1998. According to the adjustment decision of Chang 'an University, from June 5438 to February 2000, the former Department of Economics and Management of Xi University of Technology was merged into the former School of Economics and Management of Xi Highway Jiaotong University. The original engineering management major of Xi 'an Highway Jiaotong University School of Economics and Management was transferred to Chang 'an University Highway College, and on this basis, Chang 'an University School of Economics and Management was established.

In May 2003, the School of Economics and Management of Chang 'an University was renamed as "School of Economics and Management of Chang 'an University". The editor-in-chief of Financial Management won the second prize of Shaanxi Excellent Textbook; Works such as Financial Management of Highway Industry, Management of Automobile Transportation Enterprises and Marketing of Automobile Transportation Enterprises have had an important influence in the field of transportation. The scientific research of business administration has won many provincial-level scientific and technological progress awards. At present, this subject can undertake the research on the establishment of modern enterprise system, the analysis of enterprise status quo and the research on development strategy.
