Since the establishment of 1985, the adult education of the People's Public Security University of China, with the great attention and support of the competent departments of the Ministry of Public Security and schools, aims at improving the quality of police officers and serving the construction of public security teams, aiming at comprehensively improving the level of running schools and the quality of education, giving full play to the teaching advantages and potential of the school, paying attention to the cultivation of talents, and actively exploring new modes of adult higher education in public security.

After more than 20 years of unremitting efforts, the adult higher education in our school has developed rapidly and harmoniously in terms of scale, level, quality and benefit, and gradually established and formed a multi-level public security adult education system with reasonable structure, distinct levels and close ties, including adult education such as self-examination, full-time education, correspondence education, evening university and preparatory classes in our college, and accumulated rich teaching management experience in organizing adult higher education.

The overall development idea of adult higher education in People's Public Security University of China is: adhere to the general undergraduate education as the basis, develop undergraduate and distance education vigorously, and actively explore new ways of adult higher education in public security. At the same time, according to the needs of public security team construction, we should adjust the educational structure in time, further deepen the teaching reform, improve the adult higher education system, and better serve the public security work and the construction of public security team.
