According to the Pocket College Entrance Examination Network, there are only two universities in Zhejiang Province, namely Zhejiang University and Zhejiang University Medical College.

Zhejiang University, referred to as "Zhejiang University", located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It ranks among the national "Double-Class", "2 1 1 Project", "985 Project" and the Nine Schools Alliance (C9). Its predecessor was established in 1899. 1928 National Zhejiang University was newly established in the former site of Qiushi College. 1937 moved westward, running schools in Zunyi and Meitan, and 1946 moved back to Hangzhou in the autumn. Zhejiang University School of Medicine, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is a secondary college under Zhejiang University. It is the first batch of pilot universities in the "Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program" project, a high-level public health college, the first batch of ten subordinate comprehensive university medical colleges established by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, and the founding member of the "Double First-class" medical construction alliance. The predecessor of Zhejiang University Medical College was 19 12, which was founded by Li Suizhi, Han Qingquan and Tang. 1945, which was founded in August, was merged in 1952. In April, it was renamed Zhejiang Medical University 1960.
