(1) Students should complete the extension application procedures before the final exam.

If it is really impossible to go through the formalities for postponing the final exam due to illness or accident, you must inform the academic staff of your college by telephone, email, SMS, etc. before the final exam begins, and go through the formalities for postponing the exam within three days after the exam ends.

Those who fail to perform the corresponding procedures according to the above requirements and take the final exam on time are generally regarded as absenteeism.

(2) Students submit a written application to the Academic Affairs Office of the affiliated college, fill in the Application Form for Students' Deferred Examination of Tongji University (hereinafter referred to as the Application Form), and report it to the Academic Affairs Office of the school for the record after being approved by the Academic Affairs Office of the college.

(3) The "Application Form" must be accompanied by relevant supporting documents of the application reasons. If the examination is delayed due to illness or unexpected accident, the medical record certificate of the secondary hospital affiliated to Tongji University or tongji hospital Branch shall be provided.

(4) If the subjects allowed to take the postponed exam have not obtained credits, the school will not accept the application for retaking the exam and must re-take the course.

(5) The school does not accept the application for extension of the graduation semester due to the passing, medium and good courses.
