The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is a public research university located in China SAR. It was established on 19 10 on March 6/kloc-0, and was officially registered on March 30 of the following year. It is the oldest institution of higher education in Hong Kong.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), a federalist college university, is a member of the World University Alliance, the first certified member of the International Business School Association (AACSB) in Asia, a founding member of the Asia-Pacific International Education Association and a member of association of commonwealth universities.

HKBU Baptist University, HKBU for short, was founded in 1956. HKBU and the University of Hong Kong are the two oldest institutions of higher learning in Hong Kong. It is a public research-oriented comprehensive university fully funded by the Hong Kong SAR Government.
5. Hong Kong Polytechnic University
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is a public comprehensive research university located in Hong Kong. Founded in 1937, it is one of the oldest universities in Hong Kong and one of the eight higher education institutions in Hong Kong funded by the University Grants Committee that can award degrees.
