Qiqihar University, founded in 1952, is the only provincial comprehensive college in western Heilongjiang Province. Located in Labor Lake, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province.

The school has three campuses, covering an area of 1.26 million square meters and a building area of 750,000 square meters. By May 5, 20 14, the school had enrolled 29,593 students from 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, including 2,357 undergraduates, 0 postgraduates, 249 international students and 46 adults.
