Brief introduction of Changchun Institute of Science and Technology

Changchun university of science and technology, referred to as "Changke" for short, is located in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province. It is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education.

The school was founded on 1986. In 2000, the Development College of Jilin Agricultural University was established. In 2004, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education as an independent college implementing general undergraduate education. 20 12 began to jointly train graduate students with Korea Jianguo university. In 20 13, approved by the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to a private undergraduate college and renamed Changchun Institute of Science and Technology.

20 15 began to jointly train graduate students with Jilin Agricultural University and Beihua University. The college has built an ordinary undergraduate institution of higher learning with engineering as the main body, agronomy as the feature, and management, literature, art, economy, science, medicine and other disciplines as the main support.

As of April 2023, the school campus covers an area of 847,200 square meters, with a building area of 483,200 square meters. The total value of teaching and research equipment is 6.5438+33 million yuan, and a library of 33,800 square meters has been built. Set up 55 undergraduate majors and 44 specialist majors; Students 1.6 million, 987 teachers.
