At present, China is in a critical period of social transformation. At this stage, various ideological trends, cultures and lifestyles are constantly impacting people's ideas, which has caused great influence and pressure on college students' view of labor. Due to the development of economic globalization and the wide spread of information, there are more and more "money worship" among contemporary college students. However, many college students have a weak sense of active labor and have no correct value orientation. These bad values will also have a certain negative effect on the personality shaping of contemporary college students.

2? Separation of theory and practice

In the traditional process of labor education in colleges and universities, theoretical knowledge is often the center, and the education of students' labor values is neglected. Under the background of the new era, college students' outlook on labor, life, world and values have undergone great changes and development, which requires us to closely combine theory with practice to improve college students' outlook on labor and ideological and moral quality in an all-round way. However, most of the current studies only focus on social and economic issues, ignoring the value of people and not fundamentally recognizing the importance of people.

3? Value division education

With the improvement of economic level, there are some deviations in students' values, especially the materialization and utilitarianism in labor values. The amount of labor paid is measured by the money and power gained by labor, and the value brought by labor to society is removed. Compared with students with a little awareness, they may think that labor practice will improve their physical quality and practical ability to a certain extent, and consider more the personal benefits brought by labor from their own perspective and less the value brought by their labor to society.
