Waste paper box, paper cutter, scissors, ruler, pencil, eraser, glue gun, acrylic pigment, brush, palette.
1, find a big cardboard box (Bian Xiao uses cardboard boxes for TV), depending on the size of the baby! Draw the outline of the dinosaur and the position of the hand hole with a pencil (hand hole: draw a circle under the head, which is the position where the arm protrudes. The height of this circle is also determined according to the baby's height. If you are short, draw lower.
2. Cut the painted dinosaur along the outline with a paper cutter or scissors, and then copy an identical one on the new cardboard.
3. Prepare a rectangular cardboard. Note that the width of the cardboard can be determined according to the shoulder width of the child, and it must be 5~ 10 cm wider than the shoulder. Length should refer to the total length of dinosaurs from mouth to tail (measured with a soft ruler). Then roll up the cardboard by hand to make it softer and easier to paste.
4. Paste the rolled long cardboard and two dinosaur outline cardboard with a glue gun.
5. Make the thorns on the dinosaur's back, cut out several semicircular cardboard and long cardboard, roll up the long cardboard in the same way to make the cardboard softer, and then stick two semicircular cardboard and a long paper.
6. Stick the prepared thorn on the dinosaur's back. Because the back is curved, the lower edge of the thorn must be trimmed into a corresponding arc before pasting. (If you really don't want to trim it, you can also repair it if the temperature of the hot melt gun is slightly higher. )
7. After pasting, you can color it. Bian Xiao uses acrylic pigment, which is easy to dry, waterproof and colorfast. The process of painting is not explained much. You can create freely with your imagination.
