Leaving your job for nearly a month is also a small interval and a good opportunity to examine yourself. Seeing the students on campus is like seeing the little girl who was not confident in those days, talking to me through time and space.
As a liberal arts student, just like Ju Zi, who rushed for the exam in ancient times, with longing for the ancient historical capital and cultural center, he probably dreamed of going to Beijing for the college entrance examination. The ideal school is, of course, Peking University, the highest institution of higher learning. Of course, his level is still not enough. Other people's congresses, law universities, Beijing Foreign Studies University, etc. Everything is fine. However, out of concern about mountains, roads and employment, he finally chose the nearest Zhejiang University, and his favorite major was not without regret.
Unexpectedly, after a lapse of 1 1 year, perhaps driven by darkness, the dream of studying in Beijing has finally become a little round, which is unforgettable and must be recalled. Therefore, there is still a dream, in case it comes true, although the road is a bit tortuous.
After a long family life, I came to school again, although there are many unaccustomed places, such as no bathroom in dormitory, bathing in public bathhouses and no playground in school. But there is a lot of novelty, and I feel a little excited and expecting, unlike 1 1 years ago, when I first entered the university, I felt uneasy.
I remember that year, as a child from a small place, I was always a little timid when I arrived in a big place, and even asked for directions. When I meet my roommate, I dare not communicate actively. I am afraid of causing trouble to everyone, or I am afraid that I can't get along. I'm still worried about what to deal with next. Now, I have much thicker skin and stronger psychological endurance. For tomorrow, it can't be said that it is growth.
Female students in the dormitory like to stay in the dormitory to watch movies and surf the Internet in their spare time, and they can sleep late when there is no class. Is this picture familiar? Except for a few people who are extremely self-disciplined and purposeful, the state of ordinary people is similar.
After three years of high pressure in high school, it is inevitable to have a relaxed attitude in college. I've done a lot of truancy, love, drama and so on. When I was young, I was fearless. I felt that there was still time and opportunity, and I wasted some time unconsciously. After entering the society, there is a regret that books are only used when they are used. For example, I didn't use this concentrated study time to learn a language well, didn't have a good hobby, didn't chew a few classics well, and didn't make a good career plan.
In recent years, I often feel that time is not enough, so I have to do something against time, perhaps to make up for the lessons left by that year. For a time, I often wondered whether my life would be more open now if I had set goals earlier, arranged my time more reasonably, and been more self-disciplined and diligent at the age of 20.
However, I gradually realized that the past cannot be changed, only the present can be grasped. Whenever I realize this, even if it is not too late to start from the beginning, there is no need to turn back if it is not good, otherwise tomorrow will be another confusion. I believe now is the best time.
I used to want to take shortcuts, be greedy and cheap, and get quick success. My mind has gradually changed. I won't make an all-night surprise before the exam, and I won't give up because I can't see the result after a short period of hard work. I won't envy others so much, I will believe in the accumulated power, and I will focus more on self-change, because I understand that there are not so many talented men and there are not so many overnight changes.
If you stay in the comfort zone for a long time, you will gradually forget that there is still wind and rain outside, and your cognition of reality will be biased, and you will not realize the danger of falling into the whirlpool. And learning is a way to go out and see. By hitting a wall and getting in touch with new things, you can push out your potential, broaden your boundaries, and what you want and can do.
10 years, the years have passed without trace, and I have been looking for myself unconsciously. I have also thought, precipitated and matured a lot, leaving a mark of growth. This is the power of time and experience. Now, it's time to clear your mind and start again towards the next goal.
Many people ask about study, and give some advice to those who want to study for on-the-job graduate students:
1. Think about your motives.
There are many trivial things after work, and time is precious. Before you do something, think about your motivation, whether it's for a diploma, for training your thinking, for work needs or interests, what you want and what you have to pay, and make a reasonable choice under the premise that you can bear it.
For example, after working in the system for a period of time, there is often a sense of crisis, so the idea of studying for on-the-job graduate students came into being. On the one hand, I can improve myself, on the other hand, I can get a diploma, which may be useful one day (as it turns out, I used it before I finished reading it, so I will read it later)
2. Choose the right school.
Please evaluate your level according to your actual situation first. Don't set too high a goal, but don't choose a school that is much worse than your undergraduate course. Secondly, consider the convenience of learning, such as whether there are classes nearby, the time and frequency of classes. Then compare tuition fees according to economic ability.
When I chose mpa, there were not many schools with double certificates, and there were even fewer schools with classes in Zhejiang. Zhejiang University and Fudan University have high scores and high fees, and other schools in the province are average. Finally, I chose China politics and law, with the lowest tuition and low frequency of classes. The school is also a college of politics, law and arts. Everything is fine except going to Beijing for training and exams.
3. Get the support of leaders and colleagues.
This is very important. If your work is very busy, it is inconvenient to ask for leave, and no colleagues take over your work, then you should find ways, such as finding a suitable time to explore the meaning of the leader. If the leader agrees, you should also pay attention to good relations with your colleagues and arrange your work well. For example, when I went to Beijing for training, I told the leader a long time ago that I would work overtime before I left, and it would be smooth to ask for leave. And my colleagues are very good, and I took over a lot of work, which is also very lucky.
4. Arrange your time reasonably.
Reading will certainly take up some of your time. You should be mentally prepared and make reasonable arrangements for your work, study and life, especially for girls. Working for three years is just the peak of getting married and having children. Some mpa students are pregnant, and it will be relatively hard to catch up with special jobs when taking a nursing baby to class. Can be avoided as much as possible. In fact, it is best to be single or newly married with a baby.
5. Do it and go all out.
Reading time after work is even harder. Since you choose to study, you should take it seriously. Don't leave behind what you have to do. Don't be afraid of any difficulties. Try to stick to it, don't give up halfway. Although on-the-job study is not as stressful as before, and no one is supervising you, try not to be perfunctory.
Attach some tips:
1. MPA admission scores of several schools in recent three years (you can learn about other schools online)
Zhejiang University:? Total 190 foreign language 55/ total 195 foreign language 60/ total 180 foreign language 60
Fudan University:? Total 180 foreign language 50/ total 190 foreign language 50/ total 180 foreign language 50
China University of Political Science and Law: total score 165 foreign language 4 1/ total score 170 foreign language 4 1/ total score 170 foreign language 4 1.
2. Application process
Candidates log on to "China Postgraduate Admissions Information Network" (public website:, education website:, hereinafter referred to as "research and recruitment network") and register according to the online announcements of the Ministry of Education, provincial education enrollment examination institutions, registration points and enrollment units.
Every year, the time is different. For example, in 20 17, the initial test time of the national management entrance examination was: 20 16 12.24 (8: 30 am-165438+0: 30 pm,14: 00 pm). The registration time ended on June 3, this year.
3. Class arrangement
This course is divided into two parts: core courses and professional courses:
Core courses (*** 10 course, local classes in Taizhou, one class every weekend): theory and practice of socialist construction (2 credits), contemporary China government and administration (2 credits), public management principles (2 credits), public management (3 credits) and public administration (3 credits).
Specialized courses (7 courses, one training in Beijing for three weeks, the third semester after admission, about 10 months): management psychology (2 credits), public human resource management (2 credits), non-profit organization and public management (2 credits), criminal law and duty crime (2 credits), civil service system and civil service law (2 credits).
Because the professional course will go to Beijing for three weeks, if you can't ask for leave from the unit, it is recommended not to apply for the University of Political Science and Law.
The homework for each course is generally to write a paper, with the number of words ranging from 3,000 to 8,000 (we require more than 8,000 words for one course, more than 6,000 words for another course and more than 3,000 words for others).
According to the plan, the thesis will be opened in May in the fourth semester after enrollment, and the thesis defense will be conducted in the second year, which is sufficient time, but the students in the training class can defend the thesis after the training class is over.
4. Tuition and academic system
The tuition fee of Taizhou class is 45,000 yuan for the part-time public management major, with a three-year academic system, and the registration time is September every year. For example, I took the entrance examination at the end of 20 16, registered in September 20 17, and graduated in June 2020.
The University of Political Science and Law has only one regular teaching point in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, which is organized by Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security. The class place is in Taizhou talent market, and there is also a point in Hangzhou (originally Fudan's teaching place in Hangzhou), but the teachers who run the class are too smart and belong to informal classes, but they can also graduate.
5. How many times have you been to Beijing?
Three times. The process is as follows: on-site confirmation, initial examination in Taizhou in June 5438+February, second examination in Beijing (three days after the second examination and physical examination), going to Beijing for three weeks (three weeks in a row, usually in the third semester10/1), and going to Beijing for thesis defense in the last academic year (time 65438+).
6. The difference between full-time and part-time management majors.
Starting from 20 17, the state cancelled the certificate examination, and the public administration major was divided into full-time and part-time ones. Students who reported to Taizhou chose part-time jobs, and the graduation certificate indicated part-time. If the examination method is full-time, you need to study for two years. The school does not allow full-time classes in different places.
