Business training objectives: This major cultivates middle school math teachers with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics, masters the basic theories, knowledge and methods of mathematics and applied mathematics science, can use mathematical knowledge and use computers to solve some practical math problems, has modern educational concepts, meets the needs of educational reform, and has good knowledge updating ability and innovation ability.
Business training requirements: Students are required to systematically study the basic theories and methods of mathematics and applied mathematics, accept strict mathematical thinking training, master the principles and application means of computers, form good teachers' quality through educational theory courses and teaching practice, and cultivate their basic abilities in mathematics teaching and research, mathematics teaching research, mathematics scientific research and practical application.
Graduates should have the following knowledge and abilities:
1. Has a good and stable ideological and moral character, social morality and professional ethics, and is a teacher.
2. Have a solid mathematical foundation and master the basic theories and methods of mathematical science.
3. Good computer skills.
4. Have a good professional quality of teachers and the basic ability to engage in mathematics teaching, be familiar with educational laws and regulations, master and initially apply the basic theories of pedagogy and psychology and mathematics teaching theory, and have strong language expression ability and class management ability.
5. Mastering scientific methods of strengthening the body and developing good physical exercise and health habits meet the requirements of the state for college students' physical quality, psychological quality and aesthetic ability.
Mathematics major-main course setting
Main courses: elementary number theory, probability theory and mathematical statistics, mathematics teaching theory, primary school mathematics textbooks and methods, selected courses of mathematical analysis, complex variable function, modern algebra, selected courses of higher algebra, mathematical pedagogy, mathematics and applied mathematics.
Main practical teaching links: including computer practical operation and in-depth first-line teaching practice.
