I am a student of Grade 20 Digital Media Art Design 1 class in Zhengzhou Vocational College of Information Technology. My hometown is in Luohe, and the rain and rainstorm in Henan have been affecting my heart.
I responded to the monitor's call and came to Kaifeng from my hometown. As a young college student, I participated in the volunteer service activities organized by Kaifeng Volunteers Association, obeyed the organization arrangement, provided logistics support for the front line, and became a glorious volunteer.
Unlike the volunteer service we used to take part in at school, we have no channels to contact local organizations. I was very discouraged and wanted to give up, but when I took out my mobile phone again.
Seeing the disaster situation in the first-line areas, my heart was restless, and I shouted loudly: I can't give up! Finally, my monitor and I found the contact information of Kaifeng Volunteers Association on the afternoon of 24th, and participated in volunteer service activities for the first time on 25th.
The following is my recent volunteer service record: On July 23rd, I saw the monitor calling for like-minded students to be volunteers in the class group, and I actively signed up for it.
In the process of volunteering, I deeply realized that dedication really brought me a lot of happiness, made me feel the existence and significance of my existence, and made my life more meaningful and valuable.
After this volunteer service, I also deeply realized the hard work of volunteer service. Although what we do is very small and trivial, it is very important to the people in the disaster area and of great significance to me. Taking part in voluntary service makes me deeply feel the happiness gained by giving.
I am very grateful to the monitor for calling me in the class group that day and taking me to volunteer service activities.
