Student Debate News1XX165438+1At 7: 00 pm on October 27th, the final of the debate held by the Propaganda Department of the Student Union of the Department of Economics and Management kicked off. The theme of this debate revolves around the issues of reason and emotion. The debate topic of Zheng Fang Grade 07 accounting class is "Emotion precedes reason", while the debate topic of the opposing Grade 08 municipal class is "Reason precedes emotion", which won warm applause.

This time, both debaters gave full play to their talents and tried their best to defend their views. Zheng Fang demonstrated his views from three aspects.

(1) Emotion is the basis of reason.

(2) Reason is summed up from emotion, and emotion precedes reason.

(3) People are emotional people. The opposing side discusses it from four aspects.

(a) a comprehensive understanding of the definition of "reason", reason is unique and objective, while emotion is subjective and divided into two.

(2) It is not just time first, but who will take the lead after the contradiction arises.

(3) Emotions are born of things. Emotion does not dominate the development of things, but reason is the standard to judge whether things are right or wrong.

(4) Reason is blindness, spontaneity and variability, and we can only make accurate decisions with reason. The views of both sides are clear, the arguments are reasonable and the connection is smooth. After some angry words, the 07 accounting major finally won. The best debater in this debate was Zeng Juan of 08 City Class.

Finally, Mr. Lu, a student, made a summary and presented awards to the winners. Mr. Lu affirmed the performance of both sides. This debate enriched everyone's after-school life, and fully reflected everyone's expressive ability, adaptability and team spirit of the students.

Student Debate Newsletter 2xx At noon on August 19 and September 9, 2008, two debates were held on the home page. There were positive and negative debates on the current hot topics' whether hosting the Olympic Games can enhance the national strength' and' the pros and cons to employee slack management', which officially kicked off with warm applause.

This time, both debaters are displaying their talents. In the first debate, supporters thought that the Olympic Games was a good opportunity for a country to show itself to the outside world, and it could be promoted in economy, military and humanities, so hosting the Olympic Games could enhance the national strength. The opposing side has always insisted on starting with the economy of the host countries of previous Olympic Games, comparing the economy before and after hosting the Olympic Games and the data of all parties, and refuting the views in favor from the aspects of "the legacy of the Olympic Games"-the phenomenon of high unemployment rate. The proponent of the second argument thinks that loose management can make people give full play to their creativity and active thinking, and takes Microsoft and Google as examples to prove it; On the other hand, adhering to loose management will slow down the work progress and greatly increase the error rate, which is not conducive to cultivating high-quality talents. The debate between the two games was smooth, humorous and wonderful. After some angry words, both games narrowly won by tiny positive points.

In addition, the best debater was set up in this debate, which was won by two colleagues in the first debate, Li xx and Qu xx.

Finally, Director X and Manager X summarized the debate respectively. The leaders said that through this debate, everyone's spare time has been enriched, and everyone's expression ability and adaptability have been improved. However, on the whole, they are inexperienced and nervous. Some colleagues didn't say a word in the free debate. I hope that colleagues who play well this time will make persistent efforts, overcome difficulties with poor performance and speak actively. Finally, this kind of activity will continue.

The contestants on the stage are full of confidence. This game is exciting. The debaters in each class try their best to cooperate and be tactful and uncompromising.
