Wuxi Branch of Southeast University (hereinafter referred to as the branch) was established in April 1988, located in Wuxi, one of the cradles of Jiangnan civilization, and enjoys the reputation of "Pearl of Taihu Lake and prosperous land of Jiangnan". It is one of the first batch of key university branches approved by the former State Education Commission, and it is the first to explore the training mode of outstanding engineers in China.

The branch school is a high-level talent training base, a high-level scientific research base and a high-tech achievement transformation base jointly established by Southeast University and Wuxi local government, with the distinctive feature of "serving Industry-University-Research" and "Southeast University's dominant specialty" as the main body. It is a comprehensive platform for Southeast University to serve Wuxi's local economic construction and social development.

At present, Sub-calibration focuses on building an "aircraft carrier-level" multi-disciplinary open platform-Micro-Nano System International Innovation Center, which is led by disciplines such as electronic science and technology and information engineering of Southeast University and supported by 10.

The center covers R&D requirements in the fields of integrated circuits, MEMS sensors, flexible electronics, new materials, analysis and characterization. It aims to build a comprehensive base of "Political Industry-University-Research" integrating talent training, scientific research and industrial service, and provide a big platform for "academic breakthrough" scientific research and "double first-class" construction.
