College Profile: The College of Vocational and Continuing Education of Yunnan University is a specialized institution for teaching, management and scientific research of adult higher education, full-time undergraduate vocational and technical education, postgraduate education and post-university continuing education in Yunnan University. It has formed a multi-level and multi-form three-dimensional school-running model, including full-time postgraduate education, full-time undergraduate education, amateur night university, correspondence, self-taught adult higher education undergraduate education and continuing education and training. The history of the college can be traced back to 1960. At that time, in order to better serve the local economic construction and social development in Yunnan, Yunnan University prepared to establish the Amateur Correspondence University affiliated to Yunnan University, and began to carry out correspondence education for adult higher education for employees. 1980 Amateur Correspondence University affiliated to Yunnan University was renamed Correspondence Department of Yunnan University. 1993, Adult Education College of Yunnan University was formally established. In 2005, Yunnan University's Adult Education College, Vocational and Technical College and Network Education College merged hand in hand to form the current Yunnan University's Vocational and Continuing Education College.
