2021September 10. Urumqi, commonly known as Urumqi, formerly known as Dihua, is the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Urumqi has Xinjiang University, Xinjiang Agricultural University and Xinjiang Medical University. The local university started in 20021September 10. Urumqi is located in the northwest of China, in the middle of Xinjiang, in the hinterland of Eurasia, at the northern foot of North Tianshan Mountain and in the south of Junggar Basin.
