School started on February 17, 2023. Tianjin University officially announced that the school will start on February 17, 2023. Tianjin University, referred to as "Tianda" for short, located in Tianjin, is the first batch of national key universities and vice-ministerial universities directly under the Ministry of Education. It is also the first batch of "building a world-class university" and the first batch of "21Project" and "985 Project" national key universities.
