Yao Qizhi, a professor of computer science in Tsinghua University, was born in Shanghai, 1946. 2 1 year-old graduated from Taiwan Province Provincial University majoring in physics, and then went to Harvard University to study for a doctor's degree in physics. 1972 received a doctor's degree. Surprisingly, Yao Qizhi, who received a Ph.D. in physics from Harvard University, transferred to the University of Illinois to study computer science. Three years later, he received a Ph.D. in computer science again.

Yao Qizhi is a top computer scientist in the world. He was also the first person from China to win the Turing Prize (the Nobel Prize in computer science). He is as famous as Yang Zhenning.
