The College of Food Science of South China Agricultural University was developed on the basis of the specialty of storage and processing of agricultural products founded by Li Peiwen, a famous expert and first-class professor in China, in 1983. 1994 established the department of food science, and in 200 1 it was reorganized into the college of food science.
