Rongchang Campus is a campus of Southwest University, not a branch school. Originally Southwest Agricultural University, it merged with Southwest Normal University to form Southwest University, so it became a campus of Southwest University.

Southwest University and the majors related to agronomy and life sciences are all in Rongchang Campus. The college entrance examination is also enrollment, and the diploma is also from Southwest University.
