Xiamen University Tour Path Xiamen University (Siming Campus) has two gates that allow tourists to enter, namely the West Gate (directly opposite Fuwanbang Commercial Plaza) and the South Gate (near Nanputuo). 2. The west gate of Xiamen University is built in the west of Qunxian Building Group, the old main building of Xiamen University. It was built with the donation of 654.38 million US dollars from Taiwan Province compatriots and honorary alumni of our school, and was completed in March 199 1. The west gate is 7.4m high and 25m long, with a building area of120m2. It is made of granite, with a curved surface extending from left to right and a rectangle with a slightly inclined upper corner as the modeling keynote, and a symmetrical composition with relief as the main part on it to reflect the solemnity and cultural connotation of the university gate. The whole shape is simple, bright, stretched and full of modernity.
