Shanxi Institute of Science and Technology is two books. Shanxi Institute of Science and Technology, located in Jincheng City, Shanxi Province, was founded in June 2002, formerly known as Software College of Taiyuan University of Heavy Machinery, and tried to enroll students that year. It belongs to the core starting area of Danhe New Town Planning, covering an area of 1.200 mu, with a school building area of 230,000 square meters and a construction area of about 360,000 square meters under construction. In order to meet the transformation needs of key industries such as global tourism, it is planned to set up 10 secondary colleges, including optical electromechanical engineering, energy engineering, intelligent manufacturing, material engineering, chemical engineering, big data engineering, environmental engineering, economy and law, art, tourism and leisure, and set up 47 undergraduate majors in 8 disciplines, including engineering, law, literature, medicine, economy, management, art and education. At present, the new college is negotiating with the relevant academician teams to build scientific and technological service institutions such as academician workstations, new materials research institutes and new energy research institutes, which will build a better stage for the introduction of high-level talents.
