Transfer requirements from community college to University of California
The requirements for transferring from a community college to the University of California are as follows:

Determine the major you want to study as soon as possible, and you can go to the UC school you want to go to for specific understanding. Some specialized courses are required to be completed before transfer, while others are only recommended courses, so we must distinguish them well. Getting a high GPA in specialized courses is a very important advantage in the application.

1.Complete 7 courses before the spring of 2023, with at least 3 transferable credits for each course. C or above is required to complete these 7 courses. If you have relevant AP scores (3, 4 and 5 points), you can offset the corresponding courses.

2. If you haven't decided on a specific campus or major, you can also transfer to UC by completing the IGETC course. IGETC is suitable for most majors, and it will also be prominent in transfer applications. However, not every major in every school accepts IGETC. For some special majors, in order to improve their comprehensive competitiveness, it is recommended to major in specialized courses.

If the specialized course is in IGETC, the specialized course can also be counted in IGETC. Similarly, credits must be transferable, and non-professional courses must be completed with C or above. If you have relevant AP scores (3, 4 and 5 points), you can offset the corresponding courses.

3. Complete UC transferable credits for at least 60 semesters (90 quarters). Among them, it shall not exceed 14 semester passing/failing units.

4. Meet the minimum GPA requirements. The lowest GPA is 2.4 for local students and 2.8 for international students. Some schools and some majors may have different requirements for the minimum GPA. Please refer to official website for details. The scores of professional courses must be above B and B, and those of non-professional courses must be above C and C.

UCLA and UCB don't provide labeling agreements, but they have TAP (Transfer Alliance Program). As long as you complete the honorary courses in the agreement, you will also be given priority to enter the College of Arts and Sciences.
