There is a university town in Wenjiang District of Chengdu. Wenjiang University Town is located at the intersection of Liutai Avenue and Nanxun Avenue in Wenjiang District, Chengdu. The University Town is located in the western suburb of Wenjiang District, Chengdu, only18km away from the central city of Chengdu. There are Liulin Campus of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Vocational and Technical College of Communications, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sichuan Agricultural University and Sichuan Education College.

There is also a university town in Hong Guang Town, Pixian County, Chengdu, where there are xihua university, Chengdu Yinxing Information Engineering Business Administration College and Chengdu Technician College. Jincheng College of Sichuan University and Chengdu College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

There is also a university town in Tuanjie Town, Pixian County, Chengdu, and a Sichuan Vocational School of Science and Technology. Chengdu Institute of Technology, Chengdu College of Sichuan Normal University, Mayflower Vocational and Technical College, etc.
