Article 1 Introduction to the College
Glasgow College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China was jointly founded by University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Glasgow University on 20 13. It is a non-independent Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run school approved by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in the main campus of Qingshuihe, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Relying on the two A+ disciplines of Information and Communication Engineering and Electronic Science and Technology of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and the engineering education of Glasgow University with a long history and high international recognition, and integrating the characteristics and advantages of China and Britain, we are committed to cultivating outstanding talents in the world it industry and engineering field with China feelings, international vision, strong international competitiveness and high sense of social responsibility.
Article 2 Enrollment targets
China high school graduates with formal admission notices from overseas universities in 2020.
Article 3 Enrollment Specialty and Training Mode
Major in electrical and electronic engineering, with a total enrollment plan of 60 students. The training mode is 4+0, taught in English, and the learning place is Glasgow College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. During the study period, students can apply for 2+2 plan according to their academic conditions, and go to Glasgow University to complete their junior and senior studies at their own expense.
Article 4 Admission and degree awarding
Freshmen are registered as students of Glasgow University and registered in the registration system of Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools of the Ministry of Education. Students who meet the graduation requirements are awarded a bachelor's degree by Glasgow University and can be certified by the Service Center for Studying Abroad of the Ministry of Education.
Article 5 Registration Method and Examination Admission
1. Registration conditions:
(1) Love the motherland and the people, resolutely support the leadership of China * * * Production Party, adhere to the Four Cardinal Principles, adhere to the correct political direction, and abide by the Constitution and laws.
(2) China high school graduates who hold the formal admission notice of QS 202 1 the top 300 universities in the world or the universities of American News 202 1 the top 100 in 2020.
(3) English language requirements (meet one of the following conditions):
IELTS requirements: the total score is 6.5, and the single item is not less than 6.0;
TOEFL requirements: total score 90, writing 23, reading 20, listening 19, speaking 19.
(4) International entrance examination requirements (meet one of the following conditions):
A-level: BBB-AAB, including mathematics and physics;
IB: 32-36, with three advanced courses reaching 6, 5 and 5, including mathematics and physics;
SAT: 1280, combined with two AP mathematics and physics courses, 4 points;
ACT: 27 points, combined with two AP math and physics courses 4 points.
2. Timetable:
(1) Registration time: Students will be accepted from now until 24: 00 (Beijing time) on September 2 1 2020.
Special note: after receiving the student application, the review process will be started immediately until it is full. It is recommended to submit the application as soon as possible.
(2) Inquiry time of admission results: from 9:00 on September 29, 2020 to 9: 00 on September 30, 2020 17:00 (subject to specific notice).
(3) Admission registration time: 65438+202010.9 (subject to the notice).
3. Registration method:
This independent enrollment takes the form of online registration. Applicants who meet the registration requirements must submit their application materials to glasgow@uestc.edu.cn (email title: 2020UofG+ applicant's name+self-enrollment application) before 24: 00 on September 2, 2020.

Article 8 Supplementary Provisions
This chapter shall come into force as of the date of promulgation and shall be jointly interpreted by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and the University of Glasgow.

Affected by the global COVID-19 epidemic, some students admitted to overseas universities cannot study abroad. In order to give full play to the role of Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and the University of Glasgow agreed to start enrolling undergraduates independently in Glasgow College of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2020, and these General Rules are formulated.
