Jiangsu University, located in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, is a university jointly established by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, China People's Government, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and it is the first batch of high-level universities in Jiangsu Province.

The history of Jiangsu University can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal School, which was founded in 1902. Zhenjiang Agricultural Machinery College was independently established by Nanjing Institute of Technology, 1960.

198 1 year1month, approved by the State Council, the school became the first batch of doctoral and master's degree awarding units in China. /kloc-0 changed its name to Jiangsu institute of technology in August, 982. 200 1 Jiangsu University of Technology, Zhenjiang Medical College and Zhenjiang Normal College merged to form Jiangsu University. In 2003, Zhenjiang Jiang Bin Hospital was placed under the jurisdiction of the school.

1960, in order to meet the needs of the development of agricultural machinery at that time, Nanjing Agricultural Machinery College was established with the approval of the State Planning Commission, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Agricultural Machinery, based on the teachers and equipment of agricultural machinery, automobiles and tractors in the Mechanical Department of Nanjing Institute of Technology, and enrollment began in the same year.
