The Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Fudan University was formed by the merger of the former Department of Mechanics and the Department of Aircraft Design and Manufacture. Its establishment is still short, its development is still in the primary stage, and its development speed is relatively slow. After the first round of first-level discipline evaluation, it was not enough to compete with the dominant disciplines of the school, so it was cancelled.
