Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University is located in Fuzhou, the gateway of the Maritime Silk Road and the first coastal port city in China. It is a provincial-level key university with the characteristics of agriculture and forestry and the coordinated development of science, engineering, economics, management, literature, law and art. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the State Forestry and Grassland Administration and the Fujian Provincial Government, and is a first-class university in Fujian Province.
Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, formerly known as Agricultural Science of Fujian Christian University, was established in 1936 and Fujian Provincial Agricultural College in 1940. 1952 Fujian Agricultural College was founded in two cultural contexts. /kloc-0 In the autumn of 958, the provincial party committee and government established Fujian Forestry College on the basis of the Forestry Department of Fujian Agricultural College. From June 5438 to October 2000 10, the former Fujian Agricultural University merged with the former Fujian Forestry College to form a new Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.
