The Happy Story started shooting on September 19, 2020, and it took nearly five months to shoot and create. At the same time, the author of the novel is from Anhui, and choosing to shoot in Anhui can put the story back into the artistic conception of the original novel. More importantly, Huangshan has distinctive local characteristics and culture.
For a long time, Huangshan City, which is famous for its beautiful natural scenery and profound cultural heritage, has become a well-known film and television location shooting base at home and abroad, such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Ju Dou, A Tale of Three Cities and many other well-known film and television works are shot in Huangshan City.
Even Cameron, the director of Avatar, said at the Beijing premiere that the prototype of Hallelujah Mountain came from Huangshan Mountain in China.
