Shihezi University, referred to as "Shida" for short, is located in Shihezi City, Xinjiang, and is jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. It is a national "double first-class" university, a university jointly built by the Ministry and the province, and a national "2 1 1 project" key university.
