Ordinary two colleges and universities (referred to as "two colleges and universities") refer to the second batch of undergraduate admissions. In the college entrance examination, the scores of undergraduate entrance examinations are divided into three batches according to the scores, and two (two) ordinary colleges and universities are the second batch of undergraduate entrance examinations, second only to the first batch and one (the highest ranking). Every year, the total scores of ordinary two-line and candidates are different. Ordinary two universities (hereinafter referred to as "two universities") include: two public universities and two private universities.

Ordinary two universities are just a vague concept, which refers to the universities whose admission batches are placed in the second batch, and the situation in each province is different. For example, Anhui University of Science and Technology is admitted in two batches in other provinces, but in Anhui Province and several designated provinces, it is admitted in one (including key one and ordinary one).

Another example is Tianfu College of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, which is an independent financial college. It recruits two batches of undergraduate candidates in Sichuan, Shandong, Fujian, Shanghai and other provinces, and three batches of candidates in other provinces, so Tianfu College of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics is also two. Two such colleges include Changchun Institute of Architecture.
