There are 23 specialties of local special plans in Zheng Da University, including seven majors of literature and history, such as Marxist theory, public administration, philosophy, foreign languages and literature, education, China languages and literature, and literature and history.

Zhengzhou University:

Zhengzhou University, referred to as "Zheng Da" for short, is located in Zhengzhou and is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Henan Provincial People's Government. It is a world-class university construction university, a national key construction university of "2 1 1 Project" and "One University in One Province", and has been selected into the national "20 1 1 Plan" and "1Plan".

Medical education in Zhengzhou University originated from the National Fifth Sun Yat-sen University 1928. 1952 established Henan medical college independently, and 1984 changed its name to Henan medical university. Zhengzhou University, founded in 1956, is the first comprehensive university founded in New China. In July 2000, the former Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou University of Technology and Henan Medical University merged to form the new Zhengzhou University.
