Xu Hai College of China University of Mining and Technology is an independent college established by the new mechanism of China University of Mining and Technology. Established in 1999 and approved by the Ministry of Education in 2003. It is one of the earliest independent colleges in Jiangsu Province. Located in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, the College is the central city of Huaihai Economic Zone, a famous historical and cultural city, and enjoys the reputation of "one city with green hills and half a city with lakes".

The College runs a school in Wenchang Campus of China University of Mining and Technology, which is located in the southern scenic spot of Xuzhou, adjacent to the beautiful Yunlong Mountain, yunlong lake and the lush Quanshan National Forest Park.
