The University of Frankfurt ranks 222nd in the American News World University Ranking, 25th1in The Times World University Ranking, and 15 1 in the ARWU Academic Ranking.

Frankfurt University was originally named "Citizen University" because before it became a public university in Germany, Frankfurt University had been funded by local gentry and intellectuals and had been engaged in teaching and research for many years. In 1932, it was changed to its current name.

The University of Frankfurt has four campuses, all located in Frankfurt.

There are many majors, including: mathematics, computer science, art history, fine arts, pharmacy, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, earth science, physical geography, social science, education, psychology, theology, history, philosophy, archaeology, law, economics and business administration, human geography, medicine and dentistry.

University of Frankfurt application conditions:

The undergraduate application conditions of Frankfurt University require students to graduate from high school with an average score of 80 or above, or to complete a one-year preparatory course with an IELTS score of 6.0 or a TOEFL score of 80 or above.

The conditions for applying for a master's degree require students to hold a bachelor's degree certificate and a bachelor's degree certificate, and have relevant professional background. Undergraduate GPA is not less than 3.5, IELTS requires a total score of 6.5 or above, or TOEFL is not less than 85.
