Guizhou University, referred to as "Da Gui", is located in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guizhou Province. It is a national "double-class" construction university, a "2 1 1 project" key construction university and a "one province, one school" key construction university.

The former site of Guizhou University Auditorium is located in the main campus of Guizhou University in Huaxi District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. The auditorium was built in 1952, sitting west to east, with an area of 1300 square meters and a building area of 1952 square meters, which can accommodate 852 people.

Guizhou University Library is a comprehensive university library. After 1997 and 2004 merged schools twice, each campus library has completed the establishment of 1 library, and now there are three branches in the west campus, the south campus and the north campus, with a total area of about 90,000 square meters, initially realizing the automation and informationization of library management and service.

Tongxin Building and Tongde Building were built in 1953 and 1956 respectively. Tongxin Building used to be the first teaching building of Guizhou Agricultural College, and Tongde Building, which is three years younger than it, also undertakes the same mission.
