Hangzhou Business College of Zhejiang Gongshang University (hereinafter referred to as College) was established with the approval of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government 1999, reconfirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2004, and passed the provincial acceptance of Zhejiang Independent College in 20 18. The College adheres to the orientation of "application, innovation, regionalization and internationalization", adopts the development strategy of "openness, integration and Excellence", and builds the overall layout and structure of undergraduate majors with coordinated development of economy, management, literature, law, engineering and art, supported by similar majors, fully relying on the good subject foundation, teacher conditions and teaching resources of the mother, and taking economic management as the main body. The College consists of School of Management, School of Economics and Law, School of Foreign Languages, School of Humanities and Art Design (College of Arts), School of Artificial Intelligence and Electronic Commerce (College of Principle Engineering), School of Continuing Education and Basic Teaching and Research Department. Among the 28 undergraduate majors (directions), there are 6 economics majors (directions), and 12 management majors and literature majors (directions). There are two majors (directions) in engineering and three majors (directions) in art, and four major professional groups, including business administration, accounting and finance, e-commerce and digital media, are gradually formed. On this basis, efforts will be made to build a new business intelligence operation center and build five experimental sub-centers: cloud finance, interdisciplinary integration, cross-border e-commerce, innovation and entrepreneurship, and big data. The new business intelligence operation center was approved to build the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" provincial key construction experimental teaching demonstration center. The college began to recruit undergraduates from 1999, with more than 9,200 full-time undergraduates. In 2020, Tonglu Campus of the College enrolled more than 3,200 new students.
