Naval Staff University, referred to as Naval Staff University and Dalian Naval Staff University for short, is an adult institution of higher learning specializing in science and engineering, which is affiliated to the Naval Equipment Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The school was founded in 198 1, formerly known as the First Staff College of Naval Ship Maintenance. In 2000, it was officially renamed as Naval Staff University.
