First, the school profile

Sun Yat-sen University, referred to as "CUHK" for short, is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), and a comprehensive national key university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and Guangdong Province.

According to the school official website in June 2020, there are 35 colleges (departments) in Guangzhou campus, 20 colleges (departments) in Zhuhai campus and 10 colleges in Shenzhen campus. By the end of 20 19 and 12, the school had 10 affiliated hospitals.
