Tongji University's Sino-German School of Engineering is the first batch of undergraduate students.

The Sino-German Engineering College of Tongji University is a new cross-cultural communication platform established by the Chinese and German governments in Tongji University in Shanghai to increase cultural and scientific exchanges. The teaching of this college focuses on engineering, and adopts the engineer training mode of combining Chinese and western. There are many courses and it is difficult. English and German are two foreign languages, and foreign languages are taught for more than 60 class hours. Most students study in Germany in their senior year and stay at home to teach in English.
