Over the years, Ganqika No.2 Middle School has been taking moral education as the guide, quality education as the main line, improving the quality of education and teaching as the center, and fully implementing the party's educational policy as the purpose, making great efforts and being brave in innovation, and has delivered thousands of outstanding talents for the four modernizations of the motherland. The college entrance examination rate is as high as 65%. In 2002 and 2003 alone, nearly 140 people were admitted to national key universities such as Nankai University, Sun Yat-sen University, Beijing Institute of Technology and Beihang University. Internationally, it has friendly exchanges with Yanshan High School in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, and formed a sister school with Kansai Language Institute in Kyoto, Japan.
