The standard of physical examination for conscription (1) is that the diameter of tattoo or scar on face and neck is more than 2 cm, and the diameter of exposed parts such as wearing shorts is more than 3 cm, or there are still obvious tattoo scars after surgical treatment, which will affect their military appearance, so they are unqualified. Tattoos or scars on other parts (except those caused by brain, chest, abdomen and other operations) do not affect the normal function and image, and are qualified.
Article 8 If the exposed part of shorts is tattooed with "dots, characters and stripes", and the diameter is greater than 2cm (the diameter of other parts is greater than 3cm), or there are still obvious tattoo scars after surgical treatment, which affects the military appearance, it is unqualified.
Minority areas are purely tattoos of national customs, and wearing short clothes does not obviously affect the military appearance, which is qualified.
