Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts (English name: Academy of Arts & amp; Design (Tsinghua University), referred to as "Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts" or "Mei Qing", is an influential art design college in Tsinghua University, with a good reputation in art theory, art and design.

Formerly known as the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, the College was founded in 1956 1. 1957, the college is under the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, and the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts is merged into the college. 1May, 1960, it was identified as one of the key art colleges of 12 by the Ministry of Culture. 1998 1, China light industry management cadre college merged into the college.

1998 the State Council was reorganized, and the State Light Industry Bureau, the competent department of the college, was merged into the State Economic and Trade Commission. In September, the college moved to Beijing. 1999165438+1On October 20th, the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts was formally merged into Tsinghua University and renamed as Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts. ?
