Report on the Employment Quality of Wuhan University Graduates;
Undergraduates' desire for further study is increasingly strong, and their enthusiasm for participating in employment continues to decline.
Every year, about 80% of undergraduate graduates want to continue their studies, and the number of contract holders continues to decline. In 2020, the agreed employment rate was only 23.48%.
Among the 1262 graduates to be employed, 9 15 are undergraduates, accounting for 72.50%, of which 666 are waiting for employment because they are preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination next year or applying for going abroad, accounting for 72.79% of the total graduates to be employed.
Every year, about 2700 undergraduates apply for graduate students, and actually about 1 000 students are obtained, with a passing rate of about 40%. Students who failed in the postgraduate entrance examination lost better employment opportunities, which led to employment difficulties.
