Hunan University of Technology, formerly known as Zhuzhou Institute of Technology, is a national public university. The tuition fee for undergraduate majors is 4,500-5,900 yuan/year, that for undergraduate art majors is 6,000-8,000 yuan/year, that for most undergraduate physical education majors is 5,900 yuan/year (including sports training major1kloc-0/200 yuan/year), and that for visual communication art design major (domestic tuition fee for Sino-foreign cooperative education) is 27,500 yuan.

The tuition fee for majors in ordinary colleges and universities is 3,200-4,600 yuan/year, 5,500-7,500 yuan/year for arts majors, 4,600 yuan/year for sports majors, and 20,000-22,000 yuan/year for Chinese-foreign cooperative education.
