Distinguished Professor of Economics at Bowling Green State University. Received a doctorate in law from the University of Toledo and a doctorate from the University of Texas. He co-authored seven books and published more than 100 research papers in professional journals. Dozens of universities, such as the University of Wisconsin, Indiana University and the University of Colorado, have hired Professor Brown to help their employees develop critical thinking skills. He also serves on the editorial board of Korean critical thinking magazine and is the main speaker of the international conference on critical thinking. In 2002, he was awarded "Outstanding Teaching Ability Award" by Berlin Gegelin University, "Lifetime Achievement Award" in 20001year, and many local and national honors such as "National Outstanding Professor of the Year" and "Ohio Outstanding Professor of the Year" by the American Education Promotion and Support Coordination Committee. Recently, he has provided critical thinking training and consulting services to many institutions and companies such as the US Department of National Security, Russian State Secret Service, IBM Asia Pacific Company, Lego Company, Singapore K2B International Company, American Business School Alliance, and American Air Force Research Institute.
