West Yunnan Normal University of Science and Technology is an ethnic university rooted in the southwest border of the motherland. The history of Yunnan West Normal University of Science and Technology can be traced back to Shunning Government Primary Normal School founded in 1907, Mianning Normal Workshop founded in 19 18 and Shuangjiang Simple Normal School founded in 1936. From 65438 to 0978, with the spring breeze of reform and opening up, Lincang Teachers College officially enrolled students on the banks of Lancang River, which was the first time in southwest Yunnan.
After several stages of development, such as Lincang Teachers College, Lincang Education College and Lincang Teachers College, Yunnan Teachers College of Science and Technology was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 20 15 and became one of the youngest provincial public undergraduate colleges in Yunnan Province.
