Wang Jinjun's introduction
Wang Jinjun, male, born in 1970, graduated from Southwest Agricultural University with a doctor of science. Currently, he is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Southwest University, assistant to the president, minister of agriculture, director of Chongqing Key Laboratory of Entomology and Pest Control Engineering, editorial board member of International Journal of Systematic and Applied Mites, Domestic Insect Knowledge, Plant Protection, Southern Fruit Trees in China and Journal of Southwest University (Natural Science Edition), standing member of International Storage Protection Conference, and chairman of Chongqing Plant Protection Society. He studied at Royal College of University of London, UK, and University of Florida, USA, and visited or cooperated with Thailand and Japan many times. Mainly engaged in insect molecular ecology, insect molecular toxicology, stored entomology, invasive biology, integrated pest management and other fields of research and teaching, especially in the molecular ecology of insects adapting to environmental stress. He presided over more than 20 scientific research projects, published more than 100 papers, and won the first prize of provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress 1. In 2002, he won the Young Science and Technology Award of China Plant Protection Society, China Insect Society and China Agricultural Society, was selected into the training plan of the first batch of outstanding young backbone teachers in Chongqing in 2002, and was awarded the title of the first batch of outstanding young backbone teachers in Chongqing in 2004. In 2004, he was awarded the title of National Excellent Teacher. In the same year, he was selected as the "New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education" and in 2005, he was selected as distinguished professor, a "Bashu Scholar" in Chongqing. In 2006, he enjoyed the special government allowance of the State Council. In 2007, he was selected as a postdoctoral scientist of pest in modern agricultural (citrus) industrial technology system. The team led in 2009 was selected into the Innovation Team Program of the Ministry of Education.
