1, Introduction of Nanjing University:
Nanjing University was first identified as a key university supported by the National "2 1 1 Project", and then entered the first batch of high-level universities in the National "985 Project". Later, the Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Province signed an agreement to jointly build Nanjing University, and Nanjing University was selected as the first batch of national-level dual-innovation demonstration bases. Later, it was selected into the list of class A world-class universities, and 15 discipline was selected into the list of world-class disciplines.
At present, Nanjing University has four campuses, namely Xianlin, Gulou, Pukou and Suzhou, with 3 departments directly under it and 63,876 students of all kinds, including 65,438 undergraduates+0.365,438 +0.29, 65,438 postgraduates +0.4937, 6,996 doctoral students and 3,205 foreign students. There are 8 national first-class key disciplines, 8 national key disciplines in two disciplines 13, "double-first-class" construction disciplines 15, 9 disciplines approved by Jiangsu university's dominant discipline construction project 19, 8 first-class key disciplines in Jiangsu province 18, 88 undergraduate majors and 39 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees. There are 3 doctoral degree authorization points (excluding the first-level discipline coverage points), 2 professional doctoral degree authorization points, 5 master degree authorization first-level discipline points, 28 professional master degree authorization points and 38 post-doctoral mobile stations in two disciplines.
2. Introduction of Southeast University:
Southeast University has 33 departments, 77 undergraduate majors, 33 first-level discipline authorization points for doctoral degrees and 49 first-level discipline authorization points for master's degrees. There are 30664 full-time students, including undergraduates 16 128 and postgraduates 14536. International students 1989, including international students with academic qualifications 1547. The school has four campuses, namely Sipailou, Jiulong Lake and Dingjiaqiao, covering an area of 5,888 mu, including 3,752.35 mu of Jiulong Lake Campus, with a total construction area of about 789,700 square meters. The school library covers an area of 66,900 square meters and has 4.4 million books. The school also has Wuxi branch and Suzhou campus.
Southeast University is a comprehensive research university with engineering as its main feature, covering philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering, medicine, management, art and other disciplines. 1 1 disciplines were selected into the national list of "double-first-class" construction disciplines, and five disciplines got A+ in the fourth round of discipline evaluation. The school * * * has 3 national key laboratories, 4 national engineering research centers, 2 national engineering technology research centers, 1 national professional laboratories,1/key laboratories of the Ministry of Education, 6 engineering research centers of the Ministry of Education, 30 post-doctoral research mobile stations and 2 key high-end think tanks in Jiangsu Province.
