Library scale of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
The library of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded on 1956. It is the information and documentation center of the school and an academic institution serving the teaching and scientific research of the school. Shiqiao Campus Library was put into use on 1988, covering an area of 6,200 square meters. Wenjiang Campus has a 1000 square meter book service center and self-service library. Wenjiang Campus Library has started construction, with an estimated area of 25,000 square meters and a reading room with 3,750 seats. The design embodies more humanistic care and realizes the open service of collecting, borrowing, reading and consulting. It is the largest information center of traditional Chinese medicine in southwest China.
